Visualization of grain vitreousness and inner color

CHARACTERISTICS:

This station allows to:

• immediately visualize inside the kernels
• Observe vitreousness of wheat durum (for estimating the piebald rate or farinaceousness) and white rice (pearl)
• Observe the colors inside the kernels (detection of red or green kernels in paddy rice)

The grains are placed manually on the glass screen, lit by the bottom. The screen (20×10 cm) allows to observe immediately the grains without glare and eye fatigue.

→ The table has a manual sorter for separating the grains in 4 classes.
